The Jane Austen Argument are a Melbourne-based indie cabaret noir duo who combine raw ballads and sharp tongues with chaotic abandon and overtones of anti-folk and punk love. THE JANE AUSTEN ARGUMENT ARE: Piano/Vocals: Jen Kingwell Ukelele/Vocals: Tom Dickins Recent collaborations have included Amanda Fucking Palmer and Neil Gaiman. It was a wonderful show in a small seated theater which made the show personable and fun. Video captured by a novice fan using his Sony Cybershot DSC-WX9 pocket camera in 1080p 60fps on a Sandisk Extreme Pro 32Gb SDHC 45MB/s memory card. The results were so/so due to the distance and the guy with a huge afro in front of me, luckily others also uploaded video of this event.
